Artisanal Golaghat Special Leaf (Lot# 2) is an excellent production of handmade black tea from Assam. This particular batch composes of over-sized full leaves black teas, that are tightly twisted and needle-like. The tea has a fruity, spicy taste with a distinct malty flavor, which is a signature of a good Assam.
Try this; after you boil water, pour water over the tea leaves and rinse it for 5 seconds, before straining the leaves and throwing away the water. Now pour boiling water a second time over the leaves and steep it for your regular time (3 - 6 minutes). You will find that once "awoken" before brewing, these leaves taste much better!
